° The Magdalene Laundries
The Real Truth Behind a Great Apostolate of the Catholic Church
by Rev. Fr. Benedict Hughes, CMRI
Down through the centuries every sort of institution was founded to alleviate the physical and spiritual needs of the most forlorn. But perhaps nowhere can we see this spirit of zeal better than in the work to reclaim the souls of degraded women. Rightly, St. Mary Magdalen has long been considered a patron of these endeavors...

° The New Encyclical
Bergoglio Joins the “Climate Change” Band Wagon
by Rev. Fr. Benedict Hughes, CMRI
By now you have likely heard or read many commentaries on the recent encyclical published by “Pope” encyclical published by entitled Laudato Si. Although dated May 24, the encyclical was publicly presented at a press conference on June 18 by three men: a “Catholic” a bishop and an atheist professor (more on him later)...

° Monsignor Moisés Carmona Rivera, Pillar of Traditionalism in Mexico
Part V: Fr. Carmona Replies to Objections to His Fidelity to the Traditional Faith
by Rev. Fr. Daniel A. Perez Gomez
By January 1977, a month after the correspondence mentioned earlier, Fr. Carmona received a long letter from the Bishop of Acapulco Rafael Bello Ruiz. When the Bishop found out about the letters between Fr. Gabriel Ocampo and Fr. Carmona, he wrote him. His purpose was to pick out “good or bad things” from his last letter. Before exposing them, Bishop Bello wants Fr. Carmona to know that serious admonition he sent him on December 3rd, of last year, as long as he accepts the demands the Holy Father made to Monsignor Lefebvre in a letter from November 11, 1976...

° The Church of Christ
A Review of Basic Doctrine on the Catholic Church
by Rev. Fr. Francisco Radecki, CMRI
It is a historical fact that Jesus Christ founded the Catholic Church. This visible Church has a fixed set of beliefs (the Deposit of Faith: Sacred Scripture and Apostolic Tradition), a uniform form of worship (the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass), seven Sacraments that give grace to the recipients, and a hierarchy (pope, bishops and priests who minister to the laity)...

° The Precious Blood of Jesus
The Price of Our Salvation
A Sermon Preached by Rev. Fr. Bernard Uttley, OSB
Although Our Lord’ Humanity is worthy of divine honor, since it is united to a divine Person, the Church allows public veneration and official liturgical worship for only two parts of His humanity: His Sacred Heart and His Precious Blood. The reason would seem to be that these two parts are most closely connected with our Savior. His Heart is the symbol of the love which urged our Blessed Lord to deliver Himself to death for us, and the shedding of His blood was the actual means by which expiation the sins of the world was made....

° The Sacred Liturgy
Part X: The Music of the Bells
by Rev. Fr. Benedict Hughes, CMRI
Bells play an important role in the liturgy of the Church. Here we can distinguish between the large bells outside the church in bell towers and small bells used inside the church. In her wisdom Holy Mother Church makes use of many elements calculated to move the mind and heart of the worshipper. Certainly, the sweet sound the bell is important among these....

° Servus Mariae
Our Lady’s Intercession
by Rev. Fr. Dominic Radecki, CMRI
The members of the Catholic Church have been described as all saints, all souls and all sorts. In order to save our souls, we all need Our Lady’s intercession. Even the salvation of the innocent is not secure without Mary’s intercession. Many who were once were innocent surrendered to temptation, committed mortal sin and perished...
