Pope Pius XII: After Fifty Years
by Rev. Fr. Benedict Hughes, CMRI
...It is interesting that Pope Pius XII understood the state of the Church in the 1950’s, although to all appearances the Catholic Church was then a magnificent structure... He knew that there was a terrible cancer within, and that many bishops and priests were infected with Modernism. Shortly before his death, he confided to a cardinal, “After me comes the deluge.” What an amazing insight! So let us examine the life of this great man, his accomplishments, some of the major events of his life, and then return to this Catholic concept of the Papacy....

Is Hating “Haters” Hateful?
by Dr. Scott Lively
...Homosexuals call me names like bigot and homophobe, condemn my religion, mock my rational conclusions about social issues, impugn my motives, display intense hostility toward my actions and curse my very existence, all under the justification that I’m a hater. But if I’m a hater for civilly opposing what they do, why aren’t they haters for uncivilly opposing what I do?....

Forty Hours Eucharistic Adoration (Part 2)
by Rev. Fr. Brendan Hughes, CMRI
Let us now return to the 16th century to examine more closely the inception of the Forty Hours devotion. It was in Milan that the practice of exposing the Blessed Sacrament with solemnity began in 1527 at the initiation of Antonio Belloto....

“When the Son of Man Comes, Will He Find, Do You Think, Faith on the Earth?”

Explanation of the Little Office of the Immaculate Conception: The Holy Hour of None
by Rev. Fr. Dominic Radecki, CMRI
...We come to that part of the Office which is a hymn of praised to the Woman who shines with such great power that the Church sees her as coming forth “terrible as an army set in battle array” — full of terror to her enemies The hymn of None shows us this very great power of Our Lady and calls to our minds types and symbols of the Old Testament which prefigure her in this role of the Valiant Woman...

Attend Mass with Greater Devotion
by Rev. Fr. Dominic Radecki, CMRI
Many Catholics attend Mass at the same time in the same church each Sunday, but not all derive the same spiritual advantage, nor receive the same graces. One person can greater treasures of grace in one Mass than another who hears 10, 20 or 30 Masses, if the former has more devotion, reverence and love of God during the one Mass than the other in the many Masses.....
